At ABC Tamil Oli,  Viliththelu Thamilaa (Awak Tamils) we stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities across the globe. Our blog is a platform for amplifying Indigenous voices, sharing their stories, and advocating for justice, equity, and cultural preservation.

Through interviews, documentaries, and educational content, we aim to:

• 🎙️ Highlight the lived experiences and challenges faced by Indigenous peoples
• 📚 Foster understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and rights
• 🌍 Promote the principles of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
• 🛡️ Advocate for the protection of 42 unrepresented Indigenous nations at risk of disappearing

We believe that preserving Indigenous voices is not just a moral responsibility — it’s a global imperative. Upholding their rights requires commitment from all UN member states, whether signatories or not, and from every individual who values justice and human dignity.
