Excavations uncovered a total of 147 skeletons, including at least 19 infants and children. Landmark court proceedings, institutional visits from the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) and the Office on Missing Persons (OMP), and interventions by international authorities such as the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) marked this period.
